Redbone Design was founded by Kraig Schmidt in 2018, who has been a practicing landscape designer for 13 years, after receiving his Master's degree from the University of Virginia.

Project Management • Creating materials for proposals in response to RFPs, responding to client needs and managing client expectations, coordinating with allied disciplines (architects, arborists, various types of engineers, etc.), managing sub-consultants, and coordinating billing and accounts receivable for projects.
Project Landscape Architect • Conceptual and schematic design, grading, detail design, furnishing and materials selection, construction documentation and review, construction administration and observation, and submittal and RFI responses.
General Landscape and Graphic Design • Production of working drawings in AutoCAD and MicroStation, creation of presentation graphics in a combination of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, and MS Powerpoint; drawing reproduction and delivery, and preparation of general project information materials including spreadsheets, meeting agendas, and minutes.
