McLean Community Center

The McLean Community Center was in great need of updating in order to better meet the needs of its current and future patrons. Through surveys and public meetings, the $8 million renovation and expansion project sought and responded throughout the planning process to the input of residents and users of the community center.

In addition to a variety of building, interior, and foundation improvements, the renovation and expansion project will bring the Center into compliance with current ADA and building code regulations; improve and enhance the storm water management system, while saving as many trees on the property as possible; and include a courtyard with seating and landscaping.

These enhancements will allow the Center to provide its programs and services more efficiently and in a more cost-effective manner for many years to come—and that benefits everyone.
